Prayer Farm

The Prayer Farm saw its beginnings during the Covid lockdowns as a venture to sustain spiritual, mental and physical wellbeing.

Nestled next to St Wilfred’s Pilgrim Trail, a stone’s throw from Titchfield Abbey, this land has seen and retains an ancient monastic sense of history and purpose. Living by ancient monastic principles we aim to provide for a scattered community that gathers together - for prayer, physical work, community projects, education and enterprise.

Our vegetable growing project began in response to a prophetic word to ‘ Feed my Sheep.’ We attempted to answer this calling and continue to develop a holistic, monastic atmosphere where individuals can pray on the land and work on the land. We work as a community to feed a community.

We produce our vegetables on roughly 2 acres to feed our congregations, multiple local food banks and a local farm shop. Our produce is grown without chemicals or pesticides working towards sustainable, no-dig, regenerative farming, restoring and working with nature in our environment.

We have a passion to see people revived and restored as they engage with the project.

You are welcome to join us on Wednesday afternoons or Saturdays mornings. Please see events page for timing, directions and a bit more information.

Other sessions are available too, please get in touch if you would like to visit or join one of our work parties.
